Best360 Backpack Review
Above is a picture of my Best360 backpack, and it’s the best made specifically for 360 cameras backpack I’ve found.
What makes this specifically a 360 camera backpack is that it is purpose built to strap in a selfie stick while it’s extended, so you can walk with your hands free while filming.
It gives a unique “Grand Theft Auto” video game type perspective from just above and behind you.
Attribute | Value |
---|---|
Backpack dimensions | 8.27 x 11.81 x 17.72 inches |
Backpack weight | 715g |
Fabric | 900D Waterproof Polyester |
Lining | 210D Polyester |
Waterproof | Yes – In light rain only |
A good backpack doesn’t just carry your gear, but also protects it. The Best360 excels in this area, with impressive water resistance and shock-absorbing padding.
My Personal Experience and Use
I use this bag when I want to carry lots of 360 camera gear for my shots when I travel or for local filming.
This bag is also great for when I want to shoot 360 videos with my hands free while walking with the selfie stick strapped in.
Its got a lot of space so it can be used as a regular backpack as well for travel with lots of pockets and 2 external side pouches for your drink and umbrella.
Straps for 360 Cameras to Attach to Backpacks
Insta360’s Camera Backpack Strap
The Insta360 camera backpack strap features an adjustable design that fits comfortably onto any standard-sized backpack. This is not the “normal” mount that attaches to the backpack strap. It attaches to the entire backpack with straps.
The strap fits behind and around the backpack with the mount on top, giving the 360 cam a rear 3rd person perspective in the shot.
Because the mount sits on top of the backpack, if you extend your selfie stick a lot, it will sway since it’s not as secure as the actual 360 backpack I mentioned above that straps in the whole selfie stick.
Personally, if I would just get the backpack if you want third person view mounting because it’s so much more stable, but take a look at the additional info below in the link if you are interested in the backpack strap.
360 Camera backpack strap for front attachment
This is the traditional front backpack mount that attaches to the front strap, just like for GoPro’s.
It has an additional 1/4 screw attachment for the “gopro” style mount so you can attach your 360 camera.
The downside of these mounts is that you are blocking most of the view of the rear camera, so you are basically using a 360 cam as a 1 lens action cam like a GoPro.
However, even just the front lens gives a larger 180 degree field of view than a GoPro so provides a lot of room for creative shots and reframing.

Lens Cleaners
No matter where you go, keeping your 360 camera lens clean should be priority number one. After all, blurry shots because of dust or smudges can ruin any footage.
Spare Batteries and Chargers
Your shooting session shouldn’t come to an abrupt end due to lack of power supply – always carry spare batteries and chargers.
Invisible Selfie stick and tripod
The right “invisible” selfie stick makes all the difference in shooting with 360 cams.
Take a look at my list of invisible selfie sticks here, including some with tripods.
Extra Memory cards
360 videos eat up a lot of memory quickly so always have a spare.
360 camera mounts
There are various other mounts I carry in my backpack including a hat and wrist mount.
Also a “monkey” tail mount to attach the camera to things that a tripod can’t handle.
